Day #11 Take “Sigh Of Relief” from Sciatica!

Please NOTE: This blog was written at the end of February 2014. My Dad was still here, “BUTT”, he passed only a few months after, and I never posted this BLOG. This Blogger put her fitness life aside to help her Dad be FIT and Ready for those last days on planet Earth. But now it is time to POST as it is a good learning lesson for those with Sciatica or a pain in the BUTT! It just has to be POSTED as now that it has been five months, I can actually look at it and smile and NOT cry. My Dad, loved The RollerSizeR®! It made me feel so good to get his affirmation as he really liked what The RollerSizeR did for his Sciatica. It is hard to explain the power and the results received with “Two Balls” and a “Long large Tube to the average JOE or JANE.

I miss my 365 days BLOG, but that is OK. I am back at it and will catch up on so many new moves with The RollerSizeR®. But here in this post, My Dad, Mr Chaney of West Seattle WA,  explains how positioning the RollerSizeR in the lower back can release the nerve that can cause sciatic pain. The RollerSizeR only does not take it away as you still need to do your stretches and change bad postures to better help sciatica GO AWAY!

Life is amazing! One Day at a time. Be so grateful for getting up and attacking a healthy day. My Dad did that, by first, having a HAPPY way about him. Even when he had Sciatica and later the pains of Cancer, he always had a twinkle and a smile. I believe  fitness does not just have to be about the body and LOOKING Good,  But it counts to feel good! Have a smile and a happy face and mental attitude too. Be FIT and Be Perky, Be Up, Be Alert, Laugh have fun, loving, caring, forgiving and if you can put a little twinkle in your eye, you are going to have a Marvelous Day!

It was NOT easy being a Fitness Instructor Blogger/Sitting on my Ass all day and getting up and down all night taking care of my DAD. But one thing is for sure, he was right! The RollerSizeR® right behind my back in my office chair makes props me up, makes be feel perky while I am BLOGGING and writing.  I am working on the twinkle. My Dad had said that maybe I could bring the RollerSizeR® to West Seattle?  Well, DAD,  I am and I did and I Thank You for bringing this West Seattle girl back home!” I am finding great joy and lots of fun, hearing the students moan and groan as their RollerSizeR attacks their guts and maybe their butts! My classes are at Fitness Revolution By Jill in the Alaska Junction (See Address).

I am taking a Sigh Of Relief that the hard part is over, but the future is “Two balls and Big Roller” that seems to Roll Away the pain and maybe, put a TWINKLE in my EYE!

Day #10 It is time to Change Your Diaper!

You had to find out more about this blog post, Right? Are you thinking I am too old to have my “Diaper” changed. Well, not today. We are going back to the days of being a BIG Baby! But it starts with that Baby Fat around your lower middle that you have been trying to get rid of since you were a “Baby”! Poor Baby. This exercise Melts, Tones, Burns and Targets your lower Belly in about 20 “Diaper” changes! (20 reps). The real name for the exercise, is a Reverse Crunch. I love doing them as this Ab Exercise does not strain the neck. The head is down and you can grab on to a piece of heavy furniture, Your Lovers Leg, Your Trainer, but anyway grab on to something! I am grabbing on to a Stroller because many of you many not know, my day job is Certifying and training Strollercize® Instructors  and I train Moms to exercise with a stroller! Ok, now we know why, this Big Baby of a Mama is holding on to her “Training” wheels and she has her “Training” pants on!

What I also love about The Reverse Crunch is as a Mom of three, I remember my lower belly fat after having a baby. It was gross! It folded over my pants or fell on my thighs like a “Flubbery” avalaunch.  No Lie! This is why this exercise is a MUST to those in the Mommy Muffin of Madness. You guys, no excuse for you either. Some of you struggle with that Belly of Love that hangs on for dear life to your waistline. This exercise burns. Burns deep. It gets to the tummy and makes it toasty hot. The burn is so hot, I could wet my pants! Guys? This exercise done everyday, truly, flat tummy days are coming your way! When I train, I train for the AB TRUTH. That is why you are here!

The RollerSizeR® has a “Action” cushion so when you place “It” in Point Placement #5, under your butt, it props up the Butt and that helps engage the lower abs easier, faster and gives a more effective “Reverse Crunch” especially if you do NOT have and ab muscles yet! If you are 300 pounds plus, this exercise is perfect for you. The RollerSizeR® is great for those needing to lose weight. This is for all New Borns! Now, as you see in the video, bring the legs up one at a time and cross your ankles. This is where you have to relax those legs so you are purely working on that tummy of love. Grab on to whatever or whoever and pull in on that tummy like you are The Pillsbury Dough Boy. You can Giggle if you want as that only makes the Abs work more! Once you are pulled in, you lock that gut into place. Now you begin to Rock off the RollerSizeR “Action Cushion” using your tummy muscles. Not too much, but just enough to get your Butt off the roller. But the key is the pace to the rock. It has to be fast and consistent. If you are set up right comes in on the tenth rep. Take a rest and do it again. If you are advanced, I would do 50 or until you Scream. Go Sea Hawks! If you are Bronco’s fans, saddle up and get back on that horse!

Day #9 “Butt Talks” with The RollerSizeR®

This is for anyone that cares about having a BUTT that someone TALKS about in a GOOD way. This particular exercise done with The RollerSizeR, is often performed in many fitness classes. But because The RollerSizeR is used it makes this exercise far more effective to targeting that TUSH! Place The RollerSizeR® under the Knees and let the “Action” cushion create a connection with the hamstrings and glutes. Far better than having nothing there or the uncomfortable and cold hand weight (You seen that before if you an instructor).  The RollerSizeR is softer and yet has a firm tension that creates the connection needed to target and shape the BUTT. You have heard of a FACELIFT, this is a BUTT LIFTING exercise.

The BUTT, for a women, I feel, is a part of the body that sends a message. What message? Well, too big, too flat, not toned, mushy, wild and wide or nothing to “Talk” about. This exercise is for those that care about their BUTT and who cares more then you!  BUTT TALKS is a silent way of saying my BUTT is HOT!

Day #8 Cardio On Your Back with The RollerSizeR®

Can it be so? Actually be on your back and get your heart rate up? Come on, do I really have to turn this blog into a X rated article! But the simple truth is you can get your blood boiling on your back. You may be alone but hey, you can’t have everything:)

Yes, there are exercises that can be done on your back, like the one I am going to demonstrate in the video below. It will raise your heart rate, get you sweating and increase flexibility. What more do you want! This exercise does not require a lot of space either, so get partner and do it together!

This exercise is great if you have a sprained ankle or you can’t walk do to painful feet! I have actually been in that situation. How does one circulate and keep moving. This is It! One has to be creative to be fit.  Fitness is so important and if we can make it easy, fun and effective then I feel we begin to solve a problem, getting everyone to keep fitness in their life even if it means on their back.

Place the RollerSizeR® under the butt so your bottom is propped up! This will allow your legs to go up in the air easily, even if you are tighter than a KNOT.  That is what is so great about the RollerSizeR, make all exercises easier and more effective! When the  hamstrings get a good stretch it will also help lower back pain! So watch learn and maybe JOIN IN!
