Once my hamstrings get tight, I am finished! I am not as limber as I use to be so Yes, my back will feel tight after a long day at the computer! Once I get up from the sofa, my walk is slow and I do not have that Lizzie “Spring” in my step. I know as a Personal Trainer, that a strain, sprain or injury is just around the corner! But besides from injury prevention, I want the BACK of my legs to look good. That also makes for a nice Tushy :). The back of the legs need attention to look good from behind! Quads always look good for us girls, but it is the fleshy, in some cases, jelly, and yes, the dreaded C word, Cellulite! Sitting on you Tush, can give the back of your legs MUSH!
Besides the beauty of the back of the legs, hamstrings should NOT be neglected! If you are a Spinner or Cycle Freak, Stretching those “Hams” is so important for total body muscle balance! When I ride my bike, I do about five to ten miles, when I get off, Hams, Hams, Hamstring Stretch. I wear my RollerSizeR® either around my waist when I bike or tie it on the handle bars.
